Watari Town is located in Miyagi Prefecture.The town is in the Tōhoku region of northern Japan, in the southeastern Miyagi Prefecture, bordered by the Pacific Ocean to the east. Visitors to the city can rent bicycles for rides, head to the beach for beach for swimming, surfing, or clam digging and various marine sports, or enjoy a relaxing time at the Tori No Umi onsen. As for cultural sites, there is the Watari Shrine or the Yurikan Castle near the station. Lodgings in Watari Town include Hanare Positive and the Japanese style inn Nakasho Ryokan.
