Natori City is located in Miyagi Prefecture.The town is in the Tōhoku region of northern Japan, in the southeastern Miyagi Prefecture, bordered by the Pacific Ocean to the east. The city forms part of the Michinoku Coastal Trail, offers easy access to a Sunday morning market at Yuriage Port, where visitors can bbq their purchases and is the site of three Kumano Shrines. Historical sites include the Raijinyama burial mound, Horaguchi House, and old Nakazawa House. There are several western-style hotels in the city.
