Noshiro Town a city located in Akita Prefecture. The city lies in the flat coastal plains northwestern Akita Prefecture, bordered by the Sea of Japan to the west, but there are hills near the border with Mitane and along the coast. Vistitors can enjoy walks in the Kimimachizaka Prefectural Nature Park and Kaze-no-matsubara forrest and visit the historic Hiyama Ruins and wind farm.
